I assume that i will never return home and I don’t know when I can see my family again.

Now I’m at the point in my life when I lose connection with my family and close friends.
It’s inventable when distance seperates you.
We live different livesbut with a general feeling of total uncertainty about the future.

Probably I need to make new friends and get to know each other.
It’s more difficult in adulthood, especially in New York.
I guess I’m not ready and I don’t want it now. I’m focused on studying.
And the state of loneliness has become a comfort zone for me.

I left my country before it started war against its neighbours since there was no roomfor free speech. I had to leave alone
to another part of the world and start a new life. Even being here so far from home, I restrain myself in my statements because
my family who remain there may be in danger. I’m trying to save myself and help people nearby.

I would like culture to unite what politics seperates.
